London Theatre Breaks offer A Chorus of Disapproval

Autumn Shows  in London

London Theatre Breaks offer A Chorus of DisapprovalEveryone comes to London in the Autumn! It doesn’;t matter whether it is for a quick trip to the theatre with Aunt Agnes, a romantic theatre/dinner for two with your husband or your lover, a family break at half term, a school trip to see something Shakespearean or a Pantomime, a works Chrsitmas outing or a London Theatre Break for two just because!

And if you cannot come up with an excuse to come to London then just take a look at the new shows that are opening over the next few months – and the stars!

London Shows

Big productions include two new shows: “The Bodyguard” and “Viva Forever”. “The Bodyguard” is the musical version of the Whitney Houston film so if you like your ballads with power then make sure you get to see that one at the Adelphi Theatre.  If your preferred power is of the “girl” kind then the Spice Girls will give you girl power a plenty with their new Musical “Viva Forever”.

New productions of older shows include “A Chorus Line”, “Scrooge” starring Tommy Steele and “Cabaret” starring Will Young.  Talking of stars check out Rowan Atkinson in “Quartermaine’s Terms” or Helen Mirren in “The Audience” both of which come to London early in 2013. And this week “A Chorus of Disapproval” has opened starring Rob Brydon and Nigel Harman!

Two productions that are new to London but have been doing very well elsewhere are “Loserville” by Busted and Son of Dork star James Bourne which has been on up North and is coming down South on a wave of critical acclaim and”The Book Of Mormon” which has come from slightly further away (Broadway) but is no less highly recommended: it is by the creators of South Park so goodness only knows what to expect!

London Events

And of course there are sporting events a-plenty: The ATP Tennis Finals and The International Horse Show. Then there are crazy events like Walking With Dinosaurs and Ice Age – A Mammoth Adventure which will entertain both young and old.

And finally there are the lights – the Christmas lights which give London’s West End that extra sparkle. They will be turning on throughout November and with special shopping days being organised in Carnaby Street, Covent Garden and Regent’s Street the capital is bound to be THE place to go this year…. I can hardly wait!

Details of all events can be found at www.theatrebreaks.co.uk with special offers of theatre and hotel packages in London. Tickets only are available for many of them by using the booking form above.

We have found people prefer to check in to the hotel the night before and then get to the show early rather than travel to London, go to the show and then check in at the hotel.

Besides, if you have bought anything you want to get it home quickly rather than have it sitting in your hotel room over night.

Hampton Court Palace is easily accessible from central London. South West Trains run services direct from London Waterloo to Hampton Court. The journey only takes 35 minutes and the palace is a 200 metre walk across the bridge from the station.
